Steampunk Monitor is a 19-inch anachronistic delight

Jake von Slatt has already crafted an incredible Steampunk makeover of a venerable IBM Model M keyboard, and he decided it needed a monitor in keeping with the theme.  So against the warranty's better judgement he popped open the casing of his Dell monitor and proceeded to make an ingenious brass masterpiece from the innards.

He's a crafty bugger, too – the marble slab is, in fact, a piece of wood with a photo of marble stuck on (that he found on Google image search and printed out), while the gorgeous little chime lever controls (taken from a grandfather clock) are achingly simple in action but look fantastic.
