Sony ZV-1 Camera Gallery

Sony isn't disguising its target audience with the new ZV-1 camera: it has vloggers in its sights. Intended to address all of the feature requests video content creators have pestered the company with over the past few years, the ZV-1 will shoot stills, of course, but its main purpose is 4K video. That along with making video creation more streamlined.

So, there's a 20.1-megapixel sensor and the latest subject-tracking autofocus from Sony's more expensive models. In-body optical image stabilization is used for 4K video; if you're shooting Full HD, it throws in digital stabilization too. There's also a Directional 3-capsule Mic built-in, along with a 5mm mic input and a Multi Interface Shoe for external microphones.

A dedicated button on the top flips between low and high levels of bokeh, adjusting the background blur without changing the focus lock. A separate mode for product videos, meanwhile, speeds up the flips in focus between the subjects face and a smaller object they may be holding up to demonstrate. The Sony ZV-1 will arrive in June, priced from $749.
