Sony Xperia E4g revealed in black and white

This week Sony has revealed their newest Xperia smartphone – and it's not a Z4. This device will be aimed at markets where low-price smartphones are taking over. Preparing to take this market with a smartphone that both looks and acts the part of a high-end smartphone, Sony is releasing the Sony Xperia E4g this April. There will be a single-SIM version and a dual-SIM version available this Spring in several regions throughout the world – except in the United States, of course.

Up front you'll find a 5-inch display with IPS LCD technology. That display will come in with 960 x 540 pixel resolution, or Quad HD.

Along with NFC you'll have one-touch sharing abilities for media with this device. You'll also have a smart camera app which works with "up to 52 scenarios for the perfect shots wherever you are."

This device works with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor from Qualcomm. You'll find a 2300mAh battery for long life – up to 2-days worth of life, according to Sony.

Sony's Xperia E4g will be launched with 4G LTE readiness. You'll find two versions available, one in black, the other in white. Both have scratch resistant glass up front and an "elevated mirror-finish logo" on its back.

The Sony Xperia E4g will be released this Spring – right around April – for €129. That's right in line with competing devices made by Samsung and Motorola, some of which do not exist in the markets Sony will move into soon.
