Sony Ericsson Hikaru Walkman phone leaks: 8GB and 8MP camera

Sony Ericsson will be announcing a new flagship Walkman cellphone at Mobile World Congress next week, which according to the Unofficial SE Blog will look pretty much like this mockup image.  Although exact cosmetic details aren't known, the new Sony Ericsson Hikaru will have a metal casing, slide-out numeric keypad and 8GB of internal storage

In addition, the display is apparently 2.6-inches in size and on the reverse there's a Samsung-rivalling 8-megapixel camera with autofocus.  A standard 3.5mm headphone socket, stereo speakers and dedicated music keys on the right-hand side round out the known hardware specs, but it's also believed to run the latest Walkman v4 player.

The official unveil is expected on February 15th – next Sunday – while the Sony Ericsson Hikaru itself should land by the end of Q2 2009 in two color versions.  No pricing or location details, but not long to wait.
