The team at SmartHome Ventures have expanded their PEQ smart home service to include Nest Learning Thermostat and Philips hue devices. This system will be able to work with Nest and Philips hue devices immediately if not soon, with a PEQ app update letting interaction happen with a tap. The PEQ app is available for both iOS and Android devices and PEQ devices in stores should all work with this newly integrated system as soon as the app update arrives for smartphones and tablets.
SmartHome Ventures is a company based around enlivening and growing the smart home environment. Their aim is to make the smart home simple – and they’re doing it with their flagship service PEQ. We first saw PEQ arrive back in August of 2014, bringing on competition for SmartThings, Staples Connect, and Revolv.
Below you’ll see an example of how a PEQ system works with smart lightbulbs like Philips hue.
Next you’ll see a more general PEQ Home Automation outline. All of your device networked together, controlled with your smartphone or tablet.
SmartHome Ventures PEQ system works with a wide variety of smart devices like light bulbs from LG, door locks from Yale and Kwickset, Visonic NEXT Motion Sensors, and SMC Water Sensors. We’ll expect this list to continue to expand through the future, too!
