Skype delay iPhone VoIP 3G call fees until 2011

Having faced criticism over the weekend for promising premium service fees for 3G iPhone VoIP calls from September, Skype have quietly changed their timetable for charging for the functionality.  According to the newly-amended ToS for the app, Skype-to-Skype calls made over an iPhone 3G connection will remain "free until the end of 2010"

Although the delay only postpones premium fees for a quarter, it's a success for vocal iPhone fans who were liberal in their criticism after the original fees were vaunted.  Meanwhile, VoIP rival Qik have recently promised that their Qik-to-Qik calls will remain free, though they do have a premium package in the works for launch alongside the HTC EVO 4G.
