Samsung is really bringing its S Pen back to its Windows devices. Following the 2-in-1 Galaxy Book duo, Samsung announced the Notebook 9 Pro convertible late May that not only offer better specs than the non-Pro Notebook 9 before it, it also offered stylus inside. Unlike with the Galaxy Books, Samsung isn't waiting too long to bring the laptop hybrid to market, with Notebook 9 Pro pre-orders starting this week and a launch set late June.

Unlike most of the Pen-enabled Windows 10 devices we've seen the past few weeks, the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro takes on a slightly more traditional laptop form, though it does bend over backwards to turn into a tablet or a stand. This more conventional design allows Samsung to cram a lot more power inside the device.

There are two models available, in 13.3-inch and 15-inch sizes, both sadly only with 1920x1080 Full HD resolution. Both do run on an Intel Core i7-7500U and 256 GB of SSD storage. The smaller model gets only 8 GB of RAM while the 15-inch gets 16 GB. The bigger Notebook 9 Pro also comes with a more capable graphics processor, the AMD Radeon 540.

The real start of the show, however, is the S Pen. Although it has the same capabilities as the S Pen on the Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Book, this one has a silo for it to hide in. Pulling out the pen triggers Samsung's Air Command or Windows Ink Workspace, just like in the good old days of the S Pen.

Starting Sunday, 11th June, you can already put a pre-order for the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro of your choice. The 13.3-inch model goes for $1,099 while the larger 15.0-inch version gets a $1,299 price tag. Both come in a single Titan Silver color. Shipping starts 26th June.
