RuneScape for iPhone and Android: Launch time

The oldest of old school MMORPG gaming was brought to mobile platforms today, in "Old School RunScape Mobile." This is the newest version of the game RuneScape, but it's the oldest version of the game as well. Because this game was made such a long time ago, the requirements for its operation were well below what we, today, have for processing power on our everyday average smartphone and/or tablet.

This game was originally launched in the year 2001, and is still played – in its 2007 form – today. The game evolved just a bit from 2001 through 2007, then it was made what some hardcore original players consider ideal. Fast forward to 2013 and the game "Old School RuneScape" was launched online, in its new-yet-old form, for PCs. According to stats kept by the people who make this game, it's been played by "over 260 million players since the 2001 release of RuneScape."

This game can be played for free, or you can subscribe for a monthly fee. With the fee, users get the following extra bits:

• A world map that's 3x larger*

• 8 additional skills

• Loads more quests

• 400 extra bank account slots

• Some other stuff

*That's 3x larger that it'd be without the subscription cost. In other words, if you're not paying the sub fee, you're getting 1/3 the potential space in which to play the game. Either way, you're playing the same game whether you're on your desktop or on your mobile device – same account!

The game "Old School RuneScape Mobile" is available for iOS 10 or later or Android 5.0 or later. If you have a smartphone or tablet released in the last 2 or 3 years, you can almost certainly run this game. This game can be attained via the Apple App Store for iOS devices. It can also be found on Google Play for Android devices. Let us know if you're set to play!
