Rumor : Larger iPod Touch Coming In Fall Of 2009
Rumors have been circulating that Apple is working on the much-speculate Netbook Mac and is possibly to be announced at MacWorld, San Francisco next week. Could it be truth but a wrong product line? News breaks from the Washington Post's techie blog claiming Apple could look to launch a larger screen-size iPod touch in the fall of 2009.
The site is reassuring that their sources are concreted, Apple has developed prototypes of 7-inch and 9-inch screen Ipod, and is discussing production with OEMs in Asia regarding a mass production. "Prototypes have been seen and handled by one of our sources, and Apple is talking to OEMs in Asia now about mass production." The author doesn't hint the larger touch-screen devices could possibly be a Netbook instead, but do take notes that we've been hearing the company's experiment in similar touch devices for some times now.
As you may expecting, it's a hearsay at this point; there are no specific technical detail revealed or price estimated. The current iPod touch lineup starts at $229 and the 32GB model is $399.
