Quirky unveils Cable Collar to manage cables at the outlet

I'm not the kind of guy that worries about a mass of cables hiding behind my desk. That is until I need to unplug one specific device and it takes me an hour to figure out which of the 75 cords back there go to the device I want to remove. If you like to keep all your cords nice and tidy, even when you can't see them Quirky has a new product for you.

The product is called the Cable Collar and it is one of the cheapest products I have ever seen from Quirky at $6.99. Quirky will build 3000 of the things if it gets enough commitment and so far, $118 people have coughed up the $6.99 the thing will cost.

The Cable Collar will fit any outlet in use in the US and has enough room to wrap 24-inches of extra cable. You can think of this thing as similar to those water hose holders that screw to the wall you see on houses. The device has six integrated anchors to hold the cables and the plastic is heat resistant.
