Pre-order DLC before Pre-order Payne

If you thought it was painful to wait for the much-anticipated Max Payne 3 game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, now you can add to your distress with a pre-order of the first downloadable content pack! That's right gamers, straight from Gamespot comes the note that this game which literally has not hit the shelves yet now has pre-order availability for seven add-on packs, these packs coming together at a combined price of 2,400 Microsoft or $30 USD. This price is a "more than 35 percent discount" off of purchasing each of the add-on packs separately, so says Rockstar.

This Rockstar games soon to be masterpiece shooter will be rolling out with a series of downloadable content packs, DLC in other words, each of them including additional content for your pleasure right in your own Max Payne 3 environment on your very own console. The first Max Payne 3 DLC will be called Local Justice Map Pack and will include three maps for use inside the game's four multiplayer modes – Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Payne Killer. The release of this first DLC will actually drop in June.
