Polaroid L Series tablets come bearing Lollipop

Polaroid's CES 2015 offerings have been notable, and include the iZone camera companion for smartphones and tablets, as well as some other gadgets. Also counted among them are two new tablets, the Polaroid L Series Android slates. They're essentially the same device offered in 7-inch and 10-inch sizes, and they have decidedly mid-tier specs, including quad-core processors and WiFi. Both are targeting budget-conscious users, set to come with a price tag that undercuts many competing slates when they launch this spring.

The Polaroid L7 tablet features a 7-inch display, while the L10 features a 10.1-inch displays. Both models offer WiFi and Android 5.0 Lollipop, as well as the aforementioned quad-core processors, Bluetooth, long battery life, and front-positioned speakers.

Both front and rear cameras are offered, and given its Android system, users will be able to add apps from the Play Store. Said Polaroid's CEO Scott Hardy, "Our L Series provides consumers with super-fast quad core processing speeds allowing for faster performance and less wait times when watching movies, playing games or surfing the web."

Both will have modest price tags when they launch sometime later this spring, with the L7 having a suggested retail price of $99 USD, and the larger L10 having a suggested retail price of $149 USD. Hit up the timeline below for more Polaroid news!
