Pokemon GO Unova Region first 37x you can catch now

Today we're expanding our list of Pokemon GO Gen 5 Unova Pokemon available in the wild and in Pokemon eggs. This expansion to Pokemon GO began earlier this week and will continue to evolve well through the future. From day one – Monday of this week – we've been seeing more and more new Pokemon appearing. It may be that we're just noticing more as we go, but it could also be that Niantic's releasing new Pokemon each day – let's take a look!

Pokemon GO Unova Pokemon list in the wild

The wild-available Pokemon from Gen 5 thus far include all the monsters mentioned by Niantic, of course – but there are more out there, too! Have a peek at our list of confirmed finds below and let us know if you've found any that haven't yet been mentioned here!

• Snivy, Servine

• Tepig, Servine

• Oshawott, Dewott

• Patrat, Watchog

• Lillipup, Herdier

• Purrloin, Liepard

• Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant (all three in wild!)

• Blitzle, Zebstrika

• Drilbur, Excadrill

• Foongus, Amoonguss

• Ferroseed, Ferrothorn

• Klink

• Litwick, Lampent

• Golett, Golurk

• Deino, Zweilous

• Pansage, Pansear, Panpour (regionals)

• Heatmor (regional)

• Durant (regional)

NOTE that while a bunch of these Pokemon can be found in Pokemon Eggs released in the last couple days, they're all out there in the wild, too! Thus far it would seem that no single Pokemon from Gen V is relegated to a Pokemon egg.

Pokemon GO Unova evolved forms

Evolved forms for Gen V are also available now, supposing you've got enough candy to evolve the first versions of each Pokemon above. Both the first AND second evolutionary types of SOME Pokemon in Gen 5 seem to be available in the wild. So, for example, you could find Snivy and you could find Servine, but you'll never find a wild Serperior – for that you'll need the candy!

This is just part of our journey into the Unova region in Pokemon GO. We've also started to explore what's possible with the Unova Stone! We've begun tracking the likelihood that you'll find a Shiny Pokemon in this first batch! We've been watching the changes in the code! Check the timeline below for more!
