PlayStation TV FAQ dropped ahead of launch

Following the device's initial launch, word arrived that the PlayStation TV would be landing in the United States and Canada on October 14, which is nearly upon us (exactly one week away). Though we already know details about the device itself, Sony has released a list of FAQ on the North American launch specifically, among them being what hardware buyers can expect and what features will be available upon launch. We've sorted through all the info and picked out the important details you need to know.

The PlayStation TV will arrive in the US and Canada next week for $99.99 USD/CAD, with a limited edition bundle including The LEGO Movie Videogame also launching for a bit more at $139.99 USD/CAD. The PlayStation TV store will be available at launch, arriving one day ahead of time on October 13.

Says Sony, the PS TV will require a system update when it launches, which will bring several additional features to the tiny console. You'll need PSN credentials to do the initial software update. Upon the launch in the US, the "popular features" you find on PS Vita will also be available on the PS TV.

Other features for the PlayStation TV will be arriving in phases, according to the maker. A very large roster of games will be compatible with the PlayStation TV when it launches, as well, which you can check out for yourself. Hit up the link below to see the full list of FAQ, including what hardware will come with the bundles, what features are supported, and more.
