Peek 9 Breaks Cover on Retailer Websites

The Peek family of devices has seen a couple revisions over the years, and found a way into the hearts of several people out there. With devices launching in European countries over the summer, along with a major software upgrade around the same time, it would have been no shock if the company behind the little mobile device decided to wait on releasing a new piece of hardware. But, that doesn't seem to be the case, as a new device, named the Peek 9, has recently broke cover on some retailer's websites.

And while that doesn't necessarily mean something is on the horizon, the folks over at Engadget managed to wrangle some time with the Peek CEO Amol Sarva, and got it confirmed that the Peek 9 is indeed real, and coming soon. However, Sarva was quick to stop the flow of details, as an announcement is actually scheduled to reveal the device tomorrow.

So, until that time, you'll have to take some solace in the fact that you may already know how much the Peek 9 is going to cost. The listings show it going for $69.99, but Sarva wasn't able to confirm that quite yet. Will the new Peek be a specific service oriented device? Or does the company have something a bit more grand planned for their next device? We'll have to wait and see.
