Pebble has been behind some of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever and its latest Kickstarter project is now shipping. The Pebble Time watch is in distribution centers now and Pebble says that shipping labels and tracking numbers will start going out and ramp up quickly. We mentioned a few days back that May 27 was the day for shipping to start and Pebble has made good on that promise.
The first folks to get their Pebble Time smartwatch will be those who backed the project on Kickstarter. If you missed the Kickstarter project, but want to get a Time on your wrist Pebble has a few details on when other folks can order the device.
Pebble will kick off pre-orders outside of Kickstarter on June 22. You can sign up to be reminded when pre-orders kick off on the Pebble website. Some of the new features that the Time will bring to the Pebble universe include a voice note app, stocks app, weather app, and improved support for international languages.
Specific languages that are supported include Chinese, French, German, and Spanish. iOS users will be getting the ability to make voice replies to Gmail notifications for iPhone users in a future update. If you already ordered a Pebble Time via Kickstarter, but weren’t an early backer your device is coming, Pebble says that all backers will have tracking numbers by mid-June.
