Palm Pre webOS update hits Europe

Palm have released webOS for European Pre users, a firmware upgrade that bundles together the collective improvements of the 1.3.5 and updates US users saw last week.  Among the improvements are more space allotted for the installation of third-party applications, the ability to tether the Pre via Bluetooth (though make sure this is something O2 is happy with you doing first, unless you want to run the risk of penalties should they discover it), and animated GIF support in the browser.

There are also a fair few bug fixes, too, including battery longevity improvements and a tweak to the webOS calendar app; the latter could sometimes apparently lose a user's entries after a Microsoft Exchange sync.  Update should start appearing for download from today; you can also prompt the update from the webOS settings.
