Nokia E75 expected March 13th in UK: price & specs confirmed

We've seen enough leaked images of the Nokia E75 smartphone to know it exists: what we now want are pricing details and news on the handset's availability.  Retailer Expansys have delivered on both aspects of that, with the E75 now available to pre-order at £389.99 ($576) and expected to begin shipping in three and a half weeks.

According to the retailer, Nokia will launch the E75 on March 13th, which suggests an official launch is indeed planned for MWC next week.  Expansys have also given a run-down of the handset's specs, though there's no great surprises from the leaked information we've already heard:

  • GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 (Quad-Band), WCDMA: 900/2100 (Dual-Band), HSDPA (3.6Mbps) connectivity
  • 240×320 px QVGA display
  • 3.2 mpx camera with auto-focus, digital zoom, LED flash, Hi-Res VGA Video Recording, and 30 fps QVGA recording
  • FM Radio
  • Wi-Fi
  • A-GPS
  • microSDHC memory card slot
  • 3.5 mm AV connector, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB

  • It's also possible for UK users to pick up the E75 free with a new contract; expect that to be the case generally once more retailers in the country begin offering the handset officially.  Details on a US version are unknown, with Expansys US not yet listing the E75.
