Nintendo Switch weekly eShop update: Monster hunting and prison building

After a few weeks that were relatively quiet ones for the Switch eShop, we're back to seeing some big releases. Namely, the Nintendo Switch is getting its own Monster Hunter game this week in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. While it may not be Monster Hunter: World, it should still scratch that particular itch for a lot of Switch owners.Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an enhanced port of the 3DS game from 2015. More specifically, it's an HD version of Monster Hunter XX, itself an expanded port of Monster Hunter Generations that was released exclusively in Japan last year. The road leading up to this release is a bit confusing, but all that really matter is that it's more Monster Hunter, and that's always a good thing.Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is being joined this week by Prison Architect: Nintendo Switch Edition. Prison Architech was actually released a few days ago as something of a surprise announcement, as it was included in a lengthy video Nintendo published to promote incoming indie games on the Switch. Have a look at the full list of releases heading to eShop in the week ahead:

We'll keep you updated on news from that presentation, but for now, head down to the comments section and let us know if you plan on picking up any of these games.
