Nintendo NX rumored to 'work with' PC and PS4

Despite the fact that we've known about the Nintendo NX for quite some time, we actually know very little about it. We know that the company is partnering with DeNA for it, and that it may be some sort of mobile/console hybrid. And today's discovery presents us with more questions than it answers.

Naturally, since we haven't heard anything official from Nintendo in some time, rumors like this do need to be taken with a grain of salt. However, a very interesting tweet came today from Wall Street Journal's Takashi Mochizuki. Take a look below.

While an interesting tweet, I'm left wondering about a number of things. For instance, how exactly will it "work with" these other devices? Will you actually need some other device such as a PC, phone or console to make the NX work? Or are they just making a platform for games that will also work on these other devices, through online play of some sort?

I don't think that we've been as confused about a console since the Nintendo Revolution was hinted about back in 2005 or so. Hopefully we'll get more news about it in the coming months, though it's possible that Nintendo may make us wait until E3 for concrete details.
