Nexus 6 and Note 4 battle in side-by-side comparison

Both the Nexus 6 and the Galaxy Note 4 have arrived, and they're battling each other for the favor of consumers. Both share similar — in some cases, identical — specifications, featuring almost-too-big-for-a-pocket sizes and a whole host of features that plant them solidly in the high-end smartphone range. Given their similarities, each phone's unique attributes become all the more important, and for this reason they're the perfect candidates for a comparison video, which we have for you after the jump.

The comparison was done by Carphone Warehouse, which literally put the two smartphones side-by-side in the video below. What they found was largely what you might expect — that the two phones merge at certain points, and both have their own upsides, making one more appealing to certain users and the other more appealing to other users.

While there's no declaring one the best of the two, the folks behind the video do state which is better at each category they looked at. If having a bunch of different features available to you in important, the Galaxy Note 4 likely has the upper hand, for example. Those who prefer to always run the latest software, however, will find the Nexus 6 better suited.

The Galaxy Note 4 was given the thumbs up when it comes to the display — though the Nexus 6's display is a tad bit larger, the Note 4 had the most accurate colors when viewed together. The batteries are the same size, so that is a wash — the Nexus 6 was declared to have better photo quality, however, with more notable low-light performance and accurate colors.
