Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Series is Missing Copy and Paste

It can't be all rosy, now can it? Despite the plethora of news coming out of MIX10 yesterday, we were definitely expecting some kind of shade to come over the glowing press the mobile Operating System was getting. Here it is, folks. It looks like Microsoft is not including Copy and Paste into the Windows Phone 7 Series suite of features. We know, we know. This sounds brutally reminiscent of another company's antics over the past couple years, but let's not look at it like that.

How should we look at it? Well, that's up to you. We're sure that you can't really find a good reason for this, but maybe if you try, you can ignore the fact that Windows Mobile of yesteryear has been enjoying the feature pretty much from the start. And yes, if you're wondering, that also means that there won't be any clipboard functionality. So, no cut, either.

Is this a deal breaker for you? We know that the stink raised about the missing feature with a competitor's device changed a lot of minds out there, so despite everything you heard and saw yesterday, is the missing digital clipboard enough to make you turn your eyes somewhere else? Let us know in the comments.
