Lumia 635 for T-Mobile and MetroPCS: pricing, availability detailed

The Nokia Lumia 635 introduced this past spring was promised for both T-Mobile and MetroPCS, but neither pricing nor specific availability were revealed at the time of announcement. That changed today, with T-Mobile revealing both how much the phone will cost and when it will be available for both carriers.

T-Mobile customers will get the first shot at the Windows Phone 8.1-toting Lumia 635, with it being available first through the Home Shopping Network for prepaid Simple Choice subscribers on July 5. A short while later on July 9, the phone will also be available on T-Mobile's website.

For postpaid Simple Choice users, the phone will be priced at $7 per month for 24 months — this works out to $168 USD. Then, on July 16 the Lumia 635 will be available at T-Mobile stores across the nation, and on July 18 it will be available from MetroPCS at the promo price of $99 USD.

For those unaware, the Lumia 635 is the Lumia 521's successor, offering users a 4.5-inch ClearBlack display, quad-core processor, Microsoft's Cortana assistant, Nokia MixRadio, and more.
