LG Stylo 2 Plus hits MetroPCS packing 5.7-inch screen and 1.4GHz CPU

A new smartphone has landed on the metroPCS network for fans of pre-paid devices to pick up. The smartphone is called the LG Stylo 2 Plus and its main feature is a big 5.7-inch HD resolution screen using TFT IPS in-cell display tech. One of the important features of that screen is that you can draw or write on it using an integrated stylus.

LG integrated a fancy calligraphy mode to turn your messy writing into fancy script. Gorilla Glass 3 is positioned over the screen to protect from scratches and breaks. The device uses a 1.4GHz Snapdragon octa-core processor. Keys are located on the rear and are made to be ambidextrous with power/lock and volume keys along with shortcuts to Quickmemo or camera functions on the rear.

The rear camera is a 13MP autofocus with LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP front-facing unit with full HD recording capability. A finger swipe gesture can change between front or rear camera modes. The camera can record videos and has up to 4x digital zoom. Panorama images can be taken and the smartphone has gesture shot capability to take selfies with the wave of a hand.

Gesture Interval Shot also allows you to make a fist to take four selfies in a sequence. Several other camera features are integrated with beauty shot, auto shot, and multiple shutter options. In-camera editing with filters and other adjustments can be made. Smart Share Beam technology allows easy sharing with compatible LG devices, WiFi Direct is integrated along with Android Beam technology. Power is from a 2900 mAh internal battery and the processor is a Snapdragon MSM8937 1.4GHz octa-core unit.
