Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is official: a sleek metal phablet with QHD resolution

Lenovo's Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone that we saw leak back in May has become official, with the company introducing its high-end offering and all that comes with it. This new flagship has quite a bit to offer, and though it isn't entirely clear yet where the phone will be launching first and how much it will cost, we've got all the specs for you after the jump.

Lenovo is calling the Vibe Z2 Pro a "maximum performance" handset. The company dedicated a lot of attention to the smartphone's camera, in particular, something that isn't surprising given the phone's 6-inch 2560 x 1440 IPS display. Hit up the video below to see the camera software in action.

In addition to the sleek metal design, the Vibe Z2 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC 2.5GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. Storage is a decent 32GB, but thats all you're getting — the handset doesn't come with a microSD slot.

The rear camera is a 16-megapixel offering with dual LED, 4K video recording, and optical image stablization. Rounding out the features is the handset's battery — a giant 4,000mAh capacity unit that will help ensure you're not constantly hunting down an outlet.
