Lenovo has revealed their latest ultraportable, the IdeaPad U260, and the new notebook differentiates itself with a 12.5-inch display and 0.71-inch thick chassis. The U260 packs a choice of Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors, along with 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard-drive and WiFi b/g/n as standard.

There's also Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports and a standard 4-cell battery; no word on how long Lenovo expects that to last, but the company's site is already listing replacements. Other ports include VGA and HDMI, audio in/out and ethernet.

Two colors will be available: Mocha Brown and Clementine Orange. The anti-glare display and aluminum alloy casing should make this a neat alternative to the MacBook Air for Windows 7 lovers, and while pricing isn't confirmed it's expected to top the $1,000 mark.
