LEGO just revealed a new addition to the ever-expanding LEGO Creator Expert Modular Building collection. This is the LEGO 1950s Corner Garage, AKA the “LEGO Creator Expert Corner Garage.” This is LEGO AFOL targeting at its most concentrated, as it’s both a part of a bigger set-of-sets and includes a fair number of rare or unique to this set elements (unique for now).
This set connects with LEGO Creator Expert Modular Building 10243 Parisian Restaurant, 10255 Assembly Square, and 10260 Downtown Diner. Together, these sets create a block. This set can be attained and built on its own, but it’s made to be easily connected to a bunch of other sets – as such, I don’t recommend buying this if you’re both a Completist and a person who has a Limited Budget.
This set includes six LEGO minifigures, a parrot, bunny, dog, fish, and frog. There’s a scooter in this set, as well as a buildable tow truck. The full set measures over a foot tall, 10-inches wide, and 9-inches deep. New elements in this set include new-for-January-2019 black ice skates, 2x6x2 window in sand blue, 1×1 medium gray roof tiles, 1×1 angle plate in dark blue, and “rare dark-orange elements in various shapes and sizes.”
The LEGO bricks set “LEGO Creator Expert Corner Garage” is set number 10264. This set costs approximately $200 in the USA, and it includes 2,569 pieces. This set is recommended for ages 16+, much the same as its connectable city companions. This is probably NOT the best set to buy a friend for Christmas unless you know they’re into this specific sort of LEGO set – unless you know they’re in need of a never-ending hobby!
Above you’ll see how this set connects to the rest of the recommended block. The set on the right is the set we’re talking about today, and the set on the left is the set to which it’s recommended you connect: 10260 Downtown Diner.
Above you’ll see LEGO’s recommended city block that matches with the set revealed today. The red arrow points to the set revealed today – the “LEGO Creator Expert Corner Garage.”
