JVC Diamond Series 85-inch 4K TV said to have "most precise" colors

JVC's biggest 4K-resolution TV has been unveiled, and with it comes a big claim: the most precise color reproduction available. Whether that is true is yet to be see, as the television won't be launching until some time in January. When it does arrive, however, it'll do so with a price tag notably lower than other massive 85-inch models on the market at $7,999 USD. The television is JVC's new Diamond Series DM85UXR model, and with it comes more than a few notable features.

The DM85UXR features an 85-inch LED backlit display alongside 10-bit color programming and 64 zones, each of which can be dimmed individually allowing for deep blacks amidst all those bright colors. High clarity is another promise being tacked on the feature list, as is both CrystalMotion Pro technology and XinemaSound 3D sound.

The model features a thin bezel, and gives users access to HDMI 2.0 ports complemented by integrated WiFi and a remote sporting a QWERTY keyboard on the back. That remote will come in handy, as the model will be shipped with a Roku Streaming Stick included to give access to various streaming services.

Aside from the size, the 4k-resolution is one of the television's more notable features, and as with other models it'll upscale lesser-than content to match it. Check out the timeline below to see some other 85-inch televisions.
