Hyundai Legato Concept Genesis Unveiled For SEMA

Hyundai has announced that it has joined forces with ARK Performance to create a new concept car based on the Hyundai Genesis. The concept car will be put on display at SEMA in Las Vegas on November 5-8. The concept is called the Legato Concept.

Legato is an Italian term having to do with music that means tied together. The names applies to the concept car because of its integration of "exotic design, tuned performance, and luxury coupe interior" according to Hyundai. The vehicle features a complete ARK Legato body kit including new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, deck lid, and wide-body cues.

The car is painted silver and runs on special racing wheels. The car is more than looks with a 3.8 L V6 engine that has been stroked to 4.0 L to produce 400 hp and 425 pounds-foot of torque. The vehicle also has a complete ARK intake system and headers the help the engine breathe at higher RPMs.

The vehicle rides on a ARK DT-P pullover suspension system and has special carbon brake pads. The vehicle is also fitted with a Rockford Fosgate premium sound system. This makes the third concept car Hyundai has unveiled in the last few weeks. Hyundai unveiled another SEMA show car called the Yellowcake and earlier this week it unveiled an interesting zombie survival machine.
