Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet boasts surround sound

Huawei has introduced its' new MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet as part of its' CES 2016 lineup. This is the maker's latest tablet, and it is promised to bring with it a "fantastic audio and visual experience" thanks in part to an aluminum alloy full-metal body and surround sound. Huawei plans to launch a couple different models in the U.S. soon, including a gold version with a bundled stylus.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 is, as the name suggests, a 10-inch tablet boasting a Full HD IPS display alongside either 16GB or 64GB of storage, depending on model. The lower capacity model features 2GB of RAM, while the higher capacity model has a touch more at 3GB. The 16GB model will only be available in silver, as well, while the 64GB model will be available in gold.

Among the tablet's more notable features is its' slim 7.35mm profile and four speakers, the latter of which are complemented with Clari-fi Audio Restoration, an Intelligent Power Amplifier, and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound. According to Huawei, the audio has been tuned by Harman Kardon.

Specs include a 13MP rear camera with auto focus, a 5MP front-facing camera, 6660mAh battery, WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, accelerometer and fingerprint sensor, and a microSD card slot for expanding the storage by up to 128GB. When the tablet will be available State-side isn't clear, though Huawei does say it will be some time in this year's first quarter.
