The HTC One S is now officially up for sale at T-Mobile, both online and in stores. The highly anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich handset is priced at $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate along with a new two-year service agreement. It also comes just in time for T-Mobile’s Magenta Deal Days, which starts today and offers $100 trade-ins for any smartphone.
The HTC One S is looking to be T-Mobile’s best-seller following many glowing reviews, including our own. The device packs a 4.3-inch qHD 540 x 960 AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s next-gen dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with a backside-illuminated sensor, and Full HD video recording.
The camera on this new HTC handset is notably much improved as the device includes a dedicated imaging chip. It also boasts Beats Audio, although the effects of this are not necessarily as discernible. It runs the custom HTC Sense 4.0 interface on top of Android 4.0.
