HTC Flyer tablet a 7-inch Pegatron rush-job for Q1 2011?

More chatter around HTC's new tablet, the HTC Flyer, has emerged, with a new Economic Daily News report suggesting that the company has worked with Pegatron to rush the first model out by the end of Q1 2011. According to the report, the 7-inch slate will run Android 2.3 as well as a new version of HTC Sense, and be followed by two Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets later in the year. That fits in with previous talk – which pegged the two follow-up slates as arriving in June 2011, at least one of which potentially having 4G LTE connectivity – and certainly paves the way for the Flyer to make its debut at MWC 2011 next week.

Last month, rumored specs for the Flyer emerged, tipping the 7-incher to have a single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 1024 x 600 display. It's also believed to have HSPA connectivity and DLNA support, while the new HTC Sense was described as feeling more "desktop like" than previous versions.
