New binders carry more than just homework

The new Five Star binder by mead is all wired up and ready to go. Mead has created a binder that has speakers built into it as well as stereo satellites and an input jack for your headphones. Your ipod or just about any other portable music device plugs into the binder. Now I get the speakers part, what I don't get is why don't you just plug your headphones into the ipod instead of the binder? It is pretty much safe to say the only reason to plug your tunes into it, is to listen to them over the speakers.

Anyone have a pool going yet on how long it will take teachers to ban these from their classrooms? In case anyone hasn't put all of this together, let me help you out. Likely you won't be able to listen to it in the classroom, which leaves the school bus (which would require you to put on headphones in most cases) or your bedroom (where you already have a cd player). If I asked for this binder when I was a kid I'm pretty sure my parents would have laughed at me. No word yet on the availability of these binders.
