Here's what Unreal Dev Grants are helping fund

Get Set Games receive the latest in a line of Unreal Dev Grants, a series of awards made by Epic Games for Unreal Engine developers. Just so long as a developer is developing their game with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 and they've contacted Epic Games about the Unreal Dev Grant series (with some stipulations, obviously), they'll be eligible for a ton of cash. Get Set Games have been awarded $18,000 to continue developing their wild styled maniacal mobile game by the name of Mega Blast.

Mega Blast is the next big release in the Get Set Games "Mega" series. Using Unreal Engine 4 to create this game, they've created a fabulous tiny adventure with a monster by the name of Redford, who joins his super cute forest friends in this 3D mobile game.

"It's incredibly rewarding to see a team we admire pick up Unreal Engine 4, create a great game, and be a positive force in our community," said Ray Davis, General Manager, Unreal Engine.

"We're particularly impressed with the level of polish Get Set Games have achieved in a short span of time, and we hope the grant helps them cross the finish line even more easily and get Mega Blast onto mobile devices everywhere."

Epic Games have previously announced quite a few thousand dollars worth of other games in this Unreal Dev Grants series. Included are the following:

Bears Can't Drift | Arran Langmead | $14,000

BLUI | Aaron Shea | $7,000

Loading Human | Untold Games | $16,000

XING: The Land Beyond | White Lotus Interactive | $12,000

Supraball | Supra Games | $8,000

Red Goddess: Inner World | Yanim Studio | $14,000
