Porsche Design BOOK ONE Gallery

Trust Porsche Design to out-hinge Microsoft's Surface Book. The car company's design-focused arm has come out with its first full laptop, a 2-in-1 named the Porsche Design BOOK ONE. Like the Surface Book it has a detachable display that turns into a tablet, but the screen also has the ability to rotate 360-degrees around.

Inside, there's Intel's latest Core i7 processor, a 512GB SSD, and a battery good for up to fourteen hours. The BOOK ONE doesn't stint on the ports, either. You get two USB Type-C ports, two full-size USB 3.0, and a USB 3.1 Type-C that supports Thunderbolt 3.

A Wacom-powered digital stylus is included, and there'll be an optional docking station for desktop use. Like a Surface Book, the BOOK ONE won't come cheap when it hits shelves in April. Porsche Design is saying the 2-in-1 will be priced at $2,495.
