GTA V missing vehicle glitch under investigation by Rockstar

Rockstar has definitely hit a home run with its new video game Grand Theft Auto V. The game racked up over $800 million in sales within 24 hours. It continued on and reached $1 billion in sales faster than any other game. GTA V does have an issue that has been bothering some players where a glitch causes their vehicles to be missing.

We're not talking about cars being stolen, that is a part of the game. Some players have reported that after applying the update, their garage in the game was empty. Rockstar admits that it has had reports of cars disappearing from garages after the update was applied and a mission was completed.

Rockstar says that it is investigating this glitch right now. The bad news is that Rockstar also admits at this time there is no workaround to recover missing vehicles. That means if your tricked out sports car disappeared, you'll have to build another one.

Rockstar believes that the glitch is somehow linked to gamers driving another in game characters personal vehicle. Until a fix can be crafted, Rockstar suggests players:

Please try to avoid parking a car in a garage, driving one already in a garage, or getting in a default vehicle, when playing as a character other than the one with your upgrades.
