Google has announced some of its initial content partners for Google TV, including Cartoon Network and Adult Swim on-demand, a CNBC Real-Time application, HBO Go for on-demand original programming and NBA Game Time, an app for bringing realtime game scores to your HDTV. Meanwhile there’ll also be Amazon Video On Demand and Netflix support, together with online text, video and social networking content reformatted to suit the big screen.

That includes The New York Times and USA Today, as well as VEVO, Pandora and Napster; Twitter will have a version too, along with online networks like blip.tv. A new Google TV site has been set up with more details, and there are demos of the various apps and feeds in the video below.
