Galaxy Tab E and Galaxy On5 land at T-Mobile this month

T-Mobile users will have a couple new Samsung devices to choose from later this month with the Galaxy Tab E and the Galaxy On5 smartphone landing soon. The first of the devices is the Galaxy Tab E and it will launch on the T-Mobile network on June 22. It will be offered for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $10 each.

The cash purchase retail price is $239.99. As you can likely guess from the price of the Galaxy Tab E, it's a modest tablet with an 8-inch screen. The native resolution is 1280 x 800 and it has a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The chipset is a Samsung Exynos 3475 paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Integrated storage is 16GB and the tablet has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Power comes from a 5000mAh internal battery and the tablet runs Android 6.0.1 with support for the T-Mobile LTE network. The Galaxy Tab E landed on AT&T in early May. The Samsung Galaxy On5 is a smartphone that will land June 29 with a full purchase price of $139.99. It is available for 24 payments of $5.83 per month. This same device will land on MetroPCS June 27 for $59 after a $70 instant rebate. The On5 has Android 6.0 as the OS.

The 5-inch screen has 1280 x 720 resolution and a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The chipset is an unnamed quad-core unit paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone does have a microSD card slot for expansion. Power comes from a 2600mAh internal battery and the tablet works on the T-Mobile LTE network. These basic devices will offer decent performance for the price and will be great for folks on a budget.
