Galaxy S10 revealed with Galaxy Buds in leaked TV spot

Samsung's Galaxy S10 reveal event is right around the corner, but the fact that it isn't until tomorrow means there's plenty of time left for another leak or two. This next leak is a big one, as it involves a seemingly official Galaxy S10 commercial airing before the phone has even been revealed. In other words: Someone messed up.

Obviously, a TV spot isn't going to go into much depth in terms of specifications, but it still manages to hit most of the Galaxy S10's big features. We see the display cutout for the front-facing camera, rear triple cameras, and the rumored ultrasonic fingerprint-on-display reader. It seems, then, that many of the reports we've heard thus far were correct.

The ad, which aired in Norway, was captured by Endre Loeset and uploaded to YouTube (via The Verge), and also shows off the Galaxy S10's reverse wireless charging capabilities. In the ad, that functionality is used to charge both another Galaxy S10 and a pair of Galaxy Buds in their charging case, so it looks like you will indeed be able to top off other devices using your phone when you're away from a wall outlet. Unfortunately, the video has since been deleted by the user who uploaded it.

The Galaxy S10 is a phone that's been leaked constantly for months now, so while it is nice to see this ad confirm some of the phone's biggest features, we already had some idea they were coming. At this point, we have to wonder if there are any surprises left for the Galaxy S10 or if Samsung will just be running down a list of features that were already covered in various leaks.

In any case, we'll be covering Samsung's Unpacked event tomorrow as it happens, right here at SlashGear. The show is scheduled to kick off at 11 AM Pacific/2 PM Eastern on Wednesday, February 20. It should be a big show, especially since we're expecting Samsung's foldable phone to make an appearance, so stay tuned for more.
