Galaxy S10 likely set to lean on these selfie features

The Samsung Galaxy S10, S10E, and S10 Plus all have the same front-facing camera feature. The same key feature, that is to say, according to the latest batch of leaks. The Samsung Galaxy S10's biggest feature might not be on its backside after all. Instead, it might be peeking through a hole in the smartphone's "Infinity O Display" – in its front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 in all three of its first wave releases is tipped to come with the same primary camera. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is clearly set to roll with an additional camera up front with Live Focus and Dual Pixel AF UHD selfie action – but the whole set has the same collection of video features. All three models have the same 10MP f/1.9 aperture primary camera, according to the latest leaked information from Samsung, and they're all able to record the same sort of video.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will likely be the world's first smartphone able to record 4K video on its front-facing camera. That means it'll become the go-to device for the highest-end influencer and YouTube-generation millennial social networking sharing people of all sorts. Creative types and people who think they need the most powerful camera in order to look their best – all that good stuff.

The latest batch of leaks suggested this morning that several selling points on the smartphone's cameras include:

• Zoom Effect

• Live Focus

• Dual-cam front (Galaxy S10 Plus only)

• Spin Effect

• Stickers in multiple apps

• AR emoji (like Galaxy Note 8)

• Natural Look emoji

• Triple backside camera array (Galaxy S10 and Plus)

– 12MP f2.4, 12MP f1.5, 16MP f2.2

– Telephoto (45 degree), Zoom, OIS, AF, Wide (77 degree), Dual Aperture, Dual Pixel OIS, Ultra-Wide (123 degree)

• Double backside camera array (Galaxy S10E)

– 12MP f1.5, 16MP f2.2

– Dual Aperture, Dual Pixel, OIS, Ultra-wide (123 degree)

Samsung revealed that their next big event will take place on February 20th, 2019. At that time, it's expected that the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10E, and Galaxy S10 Plus will be revealed in full. It's also expected that the Samsung Galaxy F (foldable smartphone) will be revealed with more detail than was shared at last year's developer conference.

It's been tipped that Samsung will put the Galaxy S10 family on pre-order within 24 hours of the February 20th event. The devices are expected to go on full release on March 9th, 2019 – give or take a week. We shall see it all, sooner than later!
