Galaxy A9 Pro tipped to be in the pipeline

Samsung keeps busy with the launch of new devices frequently. The last round of new devices came in December 2015 with the Galaxy A9 getting official. The A9 was the biggest phone in the revamped A series of devices that also included the A3, A5, and A7. Rumors are flowing that Samsung is working on another new smartphone called the Galaxy A9 Pro.

The device is tipped to carry model number SM-A9100, the normal A9 is model number SM-A9000. As of now, the firmware for the SM-A9100 is under development and word is that the smartphone is for the Chinese market.

For now, there is no word on the details of the device so we have no idea what sort of improvement will be made over what the A9 offers. The standard A9 has a big 4,000 mAh internal battery, 6-inch HD screen, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 652 processor, and 32GB of internal storage.

The A9 Pro could bring higher resolution screen, more RAM, more storage, or any of a number of other upgrades. Samsung has had a very hard time keeping the smartphones it is working on under wraps of late so we should learn more as time goes by.
