Galaxy A8 hands on video surfaces ahead of official launch

At this point, we know most of what there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone. There have been several leaks including images and details of the hardware inside the smartphone in the past few weeks. Samsung has yet to officially announce the device, yet a hands-on video has turned up showing not only what it looks like in the flesh, but how it works as well.

A few days back we heard that the Galaxy A8 might be the thinnest smartphone Samsung has produced so far, the video certainly shows it to be a svelte device. Dimensions are tipped to be 157.7mm tall x 76.7mm wide x 5.9mm thick.

Hardware inside the thin smartphone body is tipped to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon S615 processor with four cores running at 1.7GHz. That processor will be paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The rear camera is tipped as 16MP with a 5MP front camera.

Power is from a 3050 mAh internal battery. With a hands-on video of the smartphone turning up, we have to be close to the official launch. There isn't much left for Samsung to tell us officially other than the price and release schedule for the smartphone. Check out the video and see the Galaxy A8 for yourself below.
