Further HTC Omni Details Emerge - Is This The Hottest True Smartphone?
We already know that the upcoming HTC Omniis a slick little swine (and let's just leave all the "is it an iPhone beater?" discussion aside, because it's dull and I'm as bored of it as I suspect you are); now new information out of PDAdb.net lathes further lushness on the clamshell smartphone, including some tasty tidbits about the higher-than-ever cellular broadband support.
We already knew about the UMTS and HSDPA, but a leaked spec-sheet tells us the compact handset (81 x 130 x 16 mm) will also have HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access, the flip side to HSDPA's Downlink Packet Access) for incredible connectivity as well as a 3.1-megapixel camera with LED flash. That 800 x 480 display is a touchscreen, too.

I'm getting increasingly excited about the Omni; it might not have the slick interface of some handsets or the sheer pocketability, but the features make me moist in my gentleman's places.
