If you've been looking for an excuse to get active, Amazon's daily deals might have the answer, with a one-day promotion for several Fitbit fitness bands and smartwatch models. The company's Alta, Alta HR, Charge 2, Flyer, and Ionic are all up for grabs, with up to $50 savings depending on which model you want to strap to your wrist.

Those looking for something small and discreet – not to mention affordable – will probably want to start with the Fitbit Alta. That's now down to as low as $98.95 in Amazon's promotion, depending on which color you choose. The most discreet versions are all-black, but there are silver/plum and silver/teal models if you're looking for something that stands out more.

Then there's the Fitbit Alta HR, a slightly newer version of the Alta. It's the one most commonly recommended for fitness tracker newbies, too, with a compact display, heart rate monitoring, and up to seven days of battery life versus the Alta's five days. It'll also show smartphone notifications, like calls, text messages, and calendar alerts. Today, it's priced from $119.95 depending on color, a $30 saving over the regular price.

If you want a bigger display, there's the Fitbit Charge 2. That usually comes in at $149.95, but in Amazon's promotion today it's from $119.95, again depending on finish. There's Fitbit's PurePlus continuous heart rate tracking, and the Charge 2 breaks that data down into three heart rate zones – Fat Burn, Cardio, and Peak – for an at-a-glance understanding of how your workout is going.

Finally, when it comes to wrists, there's the Fitbit Ionic which is a full-on smartwatch rather than just a fitness-tracking wearable. It's priced at $249.95 and is available in a number of different finishes. As well as having onboard GPS to track your workout, it can store music locally and download playlists from Pandora.

Fitbit offers a number of different apps and watch faces for the Ionic too, and there's Fitbit Pay support with an integrated NFC chip. Despite all that, battery life is up to four days. Normally, it'll retail at $299.95.

Last product on the daily deal list, meanwhile, is Fitbit Flyer. They're the company's wireless headphones, pairing via Bluetooth to your smartphone and your smartwatch. Usually they're $129.95, but today they're almost a quarter off, reduced to $99.95.

If you're looking for a deal on Fitbit's newest model, the Versa, however, unfortunately you're out of luck. It's not part of Amazon's promotion today. You're still looking at $199.95 for the entry-level aluminum model.
