Final Fantasy 15's Regalia car comes to Forza Horizon 3

Final Fantasy XV players have been able to drive the Regalia — the large, luxurious car used by the game's heroes — in several ways, including within the hit RPG itself, and even in real life (if they had a huge pile of cash to spend), but next week they'll be able to take it for a ride in another video game entirely. Microsoft has announced that FF15's Regalia will be coming to Forza Horizon 3 on the Xbox One and PC for free next week.

Players will be able to cruise the streets of Forza Horizon 3 in style as the 21-foot long, 7-foot wide convertible arrives straight out of FF15, complete with its 536hp-producing 7.2-liter supercharged V12 engine. They can even recreate Noctis' road trip in the kingdom of Lucis by driving the Regalia across Australia.

The car will be available to download for Forza Horizon 3 on Tuesday, August 1st. The small catch, however, is that gamers need to have played either Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One or PC and/or Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One by August 1st. There's no word on if the Regalia will be available to anyone who plays either game after that date, or as a future paid DLC. So if you're interested in checking out the fictional vehicle but haven't played either game yet, this is your only weekend to take action.

Microsoft says Forza Horizon 3 players will receive an in-game message to redeem the car, while FF15 players will receive a standard Xbox Live message with a code to download it.
