Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Revelations DLC not a month after game itself

Supposing you’ve already had your fill of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 after the game has only been out since the 25th of February, Konami has a treat for you. The first DLC (downloadable content pack) for the game will be out on the 25th of March! This first DLC “Revelations” centers on the beast known as “Alucard”, the son of Gabriel.

This update to the game will be released on all platforms at once, all at the end of this month. This includes the Xbox 360 through Xbox Live Games on Demand, PlayStation 3 through the PlayStation Network, and on Windows PCs through Steam. SlashGear’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Review should give you a good glimpse of the title at its best if you’ve not yet jumped in on the darkness.

This update will bring the user in on the turned son of Gabriel, hunting down the evil that lurks in the night. This DLC takes place in the time period that leads up to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, acting as a sort of prequel to the madness. This update has you acting as Alucard, allowing you to take part in the Glaciem and Igneas powers he possesses as well as the ability to transform into a wolf.

“Playing as Alucard, gamers must discover the legendary vampire’s secrets, unearth the true extent of his involvement in Dracula’s story, and set in motion the events of CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW 2.

The DLC expands the incredible story of the recently-released sequel, with the fate of the Belmont clan unveiled. Alucard has his own unique, powerful abilities, including use of the Glaciem and Igneas powers, in addition to vampiric abilities which allow him to transform into a wolf, a swarm of bats and even turn back time.” – Konami

ABOVE: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 gameplay. We’ll have gameplay from this DLC ASAP!

Even though you’re hunting “creatures of the night”, you’re still a vampire. Drink the blood of your enemies and intensify your immortal powers. Different allegiance, just as much gore.
