Cassette tape dispensers from j-me

Now I am well aware that cassette tapes are dead technology. However, j-me has found a way to put to use this archaic gadget.

Although these particular tapes were never real tapes, its still enough to make you chuckle. Why not use cassette tapes as tape dispensers?
