Canon PIXMA MG3620 prints straight from Instagram

Canon has a new PIXMA printer and it's the first one that can print directly from Instagram accounts. This gives mobile photographers with a fondness for printed photographs a way to print out their favorite Instagram shots without having to use their laptop or third-party software. It's the Canon PIXMA MG3620 Wireless Inkjet all-in-one printer, and it works in conjunction with Canon's mobile PRINT app. If Instagram isn't your cup of tea, the printer and app are also compatible with Facebook, Twitter, Evernote, and a bunch of other services.

The Canon PIXMA MG3620 printer is compatible with both iOS and Android devices through the Canon PRINT app, with the app's users being able to print content from Facebook, Evernote, Photobucket, Flickr, Creative Park, Dropbox, and more.

The big feature, though, is that you don't have to pop out your laptop to print the content, instead being able to directly access it through your smartphone or tablet.

The new PIXMA has a variety of support in addition to the aforementioned social networks, including Google Cloud Print that allows users to print from Gmail and Google Docs on the tablets and smart phones. Printing can also be done from Chrome browser on systems running Chrome OS, Mac, Linux and Windows. SlideShare and OneNote scanning round out the features.

The printer itself includes common features like two-sided printing and wireless support; it is available now in black, red, and white colors for $80 USD. Hit up the timeline below for more Canon news!
