Canon EOS 7D Mark II: new images surface

The long anticipated Canon EOS 7D Mark II has been the subject of speculation and leaks for a while now, not the least of which was earlier this week when some specs surfaced said to belong to Canon's next camera. Joining them are three new images that show off what is purported to be the EOS 7D Mark II.

The images surfaced at Digicame-info, and in them we get a pretty solid look at the camera, with it being shown off from the front, back, and top. These images join one Digicame previously leaked showing the 7D from an angle with a lens fixed in place.

According to leaks thus far, the 7D Mark II will feature a 20.2-megapixel APS-C sensor, dual DIGIC 6 processors, an integrated flash, jacks for microphone and headphones, an anti-flicker mode, ISO up to 16000 with boost up to 51200, GPS, a fixed non-touch LCD, and more.

The 7D Mark II has been expected for a while now. Previous rumor said the camera would be making a pre-launch appearance at the FIFA 2014 World Cup, and at the time it was expected the camera would debut at Photokina. That latter expectation still stands, and we'll know for sure in the next week or so.
