ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3 Video Card Packs GeForce GT 430 GPU

ASUS has officially announced their video card based on NVIDIA's new GeForce GT 430 GPU, and it's the rather extravagantly finned but unwieldily named ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3.  A low-profile card with VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs, the new card has 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 700MHz engine clock and 128-bit memory interface, along with the GT 430's 96 CUDA cores.

That, ASUS say, is good enough to drive up to a 2560 x 1600 display from the DVI port.  The card PCB itself measures 6.3 x 2.8 inches, and ASUS throw in two brackets – one regular, one low-profile – to suit whatever case you're using.

Finally there's a special fan design which ASUS ambitiously describe as "dust proof" and reckon will extend the life of the card by up to 25-percent.  It'll go on sale this week, price tba.
